The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

The 39th Medical Group reorganizes it's squadrons

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey  –  

The United States Air Force has reformed its medical groups, including the 39th Medical Group at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Sept. 14, 2020. The 39th Medical Support Squadron was inactivated and the 39th Health Operations Squadron was activated under the command of Lt. Col. Joy Spillers. The 39th Medical Operation Squadron was redesignated as the 39th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron under the command of Lt. Col. Franklin Porcil. These reforms were enacted in order to ensure Trusted Care is provided equally across our beneficiary population.
