The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

728th Air Mobility Squadron and 39th Operational Support Squadron support key earthquake relief deliveries

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Türkiye — Since Department of Defense support to U.S. Agency for International Development for earthquake relief to Türkiye began, the 728th Air Mobility Squadron has offloaded 5,764 tons of equipment and supplies from aircraft in coordination with 39th Operational Support Squadron, as of Feb. 12, 2023.

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey — The 39th Medical Group conducted Tactical Combat Casualty Care training, the newly required Department of Defense medical care program to qualify medical professionals and 39th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal members December 4-5, 2021.

Airmen from the 39th OMRS visited Acıbadem’s Center of Advanced Simulation and Education to train in a more realistic environment, with state-of-the-art technology that provides real-time feedback to the medical team. 39th OMRS medics conduct TCCC training

INCIRLIK AIR BASE, Turkey — The 39th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron Airmen received two days of combat medical training at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, Sept. 10-12, 2020. The training familiarized them with Tactical Combat Casualty Care, or TCCC. The two- day course covered field medical training techniques and puts students in a simulated combat zone where they learned to operate under pressure using methods they learned in the classroom.
